Welcome Video and Corner Screen, Llanyrafon Manor

Working closely with the client team at Llanyrafon Manor we scripted, recorded and produced a short welcome video designed to provide visitors with a better understanding of the Manors rich heritage. The short 6 minute video passes quickly through the decades highlighting several more noticeable eras of the sites history, starting in the 17th Century just after construction and ending with a WW2 land girl.

Filming

Due to a modest budget, overheads were kept to a minimum where possible – a small amount of actors/actresses were utilised and filming was squeezed into a single day shoot on site at the Manor grounds. The client team were happy to provide input during filming and assisted where possible with props and wardrobe. View the finished video below;

Corner Screen

With the filming complete we then needed to make the video available to visitors. This was achieved through construction of a bespoke HD corner screen unit, installed within the lobby of the Manor where visitors first enter. The screen was designed to blend in with an existing table unit – the aim being that although a HD flat-screen isn’t exactly something you would have seen in the Manor during its heyday the installation won’t detract from the historical surroundings.

The screen cycles through various images until the video is activated by visitors with the push of a button, they also have the ability to put the volume up and down as required.
