Single Cup Headphones – Museum of Independence, Myślenice

The Museum of Independence in Myślenice tells the story of independent Poland through the lens of the local residents and their experiences. It’s a combination of a regional museum, with a rich ethnographic collection, and a modern cultural and educational centre that cares for the historical memory of the local area.

Across three levels of exhibition space visitors can engage with various stories about Myślenice. AV installations have been used and adapted throughout the museum to create a modern visitor experience, including our very own Single Cup Headphones.

TDC Polska were commissioned with the design and supply of hardware and software solutions for the Museum, including installation of all delivered elements.

Our Single Cup Headphones were selected and installed by TDC Polska within an impressively rustic video table, allowing visitors to listen to the available content with minimal audio bleed.

The clean design of the exhibition coupled with the use of our single cup headphones and accompanying magnetic hangers makes for a very tidy installation, with the armoured cables and anchor points ensuring longevity and robustness in use.
