Heavy Duty Handsets – Frederiksberg Library

Danasvej and Godthaabsvej Libraries on Frederiksberg, Denmark have been transformed into so called ‘inspiratoriums’ with stacks of books and virtual hosts displayed on digital screens welcoming library guests upon entry.

Each table presents a different theme which is explained in the short films and listened to by users via Heavy Duty Handsets. All themes are selected and presented by local readers, local writers, librarians, experts and publishers with the hope they will inspire readers to try different genres and authors.
