AudioSign Turn & Touch – Fairhaven

Fairhaven Woodland & Water Garden was originally part of the South Walsham Estate and was created over time by the 2nd Lord of Fairhaven, Major Henry Broughton (an avid gardener). Upon his death in 1973 the garden was left in Trust for the public to enjoy, as per the Majors request. The garden first opened to the public  in 1975 and has proven a popular attraction ever since.

Fairhaven has an exciting mix of native and cultivated plantings and is an ideal location for a peaceful day out surrounded by nature. With over 3 miles of paths, various events taking place throughout the year, daily boat trips and the well known eco-tearoom there is plenty for the whole family to enjoy.

AudioSign Turn & AudioSign Touch

Fairhaven approached us on the hunt for audio signs to use in their new bird hide, they wanted a way in which visitors could learn about various local birds while having the ability to play clips of their birdsong.

With a clear passion for being eco-friendly at Fairhaven, as evidenced by their new tea room, the AuidoSign Turn and AudioSign Touch were a popular choice.

Solar and Wind-up powered, the Audio Sign touch and Audio Sign Turn are environmentally friendly, they are also designed to operate in both indoor and outdoor conditions, making them perfect for use in the bird hide. Visitors are now able to read about some of the more popular local bird population and then upon the push of a button (or in the case of the AudioSign Turn, wind of a handle) listen to an example of each birdsong.
