Audio Bench Electronics – Orpheus Centre

The Orpheus Centre is a charity based in Surrey that’s focused on empowering young disabled adults to live fulfilling, independent lives. Ellie Dunn, Senior Outreach and Engagement Manager for the Orpheus Centre, explains a recent project there and how integral the Solar Bench Electronics were to its success.
We partnered with The Amber Foundation, a charity that offers housing and support to homeless young people, to create three benches. These benches were designed by the young people involved and include original pieces of music inspired by their collective lived experiences.

These spectacular benches were really brought to life thanks to the Solar Bench Electronics – which via nothing but solar power are able to share the unique pieces of music recorded specifically for this project with users at the simple press of a button.
