22" All-In-One Touchscreen & Museum Software – Tudor World

We were approached by Tudor World to provide a touchscreen solution for their museum located in Stratford-upon-Avon. Tudor World focuses on the Tudors and how they lived back in the 16th century. It has become one of the most recognisable museums in England and is the recipient of many awards. They wanted a touchscreen that would help teach visitors a bit more about life during Tudor times in an engaging way, providing a number of media items that would give a greater insight into life back then.

We utilised our All-In-One Touchscreen with our off-the-shelf software option MediaTable, Homepage and Editor. The All-in-One 22″ touchscreen is a great platform for interactive media thanks to it’s high spec PC and easy installation options, while MediaTable is capable of sharing up to 10 HD videos, 30 images, and 10 PDf documents within each instance, which gives a variety of content that can be easily customised. Combined with a Parallax HomeScreen they were able to display multiple instances of MediaTable (each with different content) upon the single screen.

Through the use of our Editor Software Tudor World were able to upload their own content and populate the software themselves with various videos, photos, and documents from their archives centering around the Tudors.

Tudor World also cleverly used an instance of MediaTable to create a quiz for visitors, with questions asked in the image and the answer provided by the expandable description – a smart use of the application that helps visitors learn about the Tudors, The Shrieves, Ghosts & the town of Stratford during the Tudors’ reign in an engaging way.
