Lightbox 3
for Windows
Lightbox 3 is our Windows based interactive software package primarily created for museum touchscreen applications. The simple to use Content Management System allows you to employ your own media content to build and publish unique interactives. Pair with our range of touchscreens and you have a fully complete engaging visitor experience.

At the Georgian-era Sewerby Hall, there are two rooms dedicated to renowned aviatrix Amy Johnson, who was invited to open the hall to the public in 1936. Visitors can learn about her early life and record breaking flights via a touchscreen kiosk installed with a Lightbox 3 Hotspot interactive, then test their knowledge with Memory and Quiz.
We utilised Hotspot, Collections and Web Browser alongside a large 55″ touchscreen to display an interactive map and other information that visitors to the Millennium Coastal Park Discovery Centre can use to inspire their next Carmarthenshire adventure.
Dinosaur World, Torquay teaches visitors about dinosaurs in a fun interactive way with Memory, as pairs are matched information about that particular dinosaur is shared
Bentley Priory Museum utilised a three-screen kiosk setup to display an interactive timeline – powered by Hotspot – of the Battle of Britain from 10th July through to 31st October.
Hotspot powers three different 43″ touchscreens and allows the National Oceanography Centre in Southampton to demonstrate the importance of their work. Browser also links to a virtual tour for the bridge of the RMS James Cook.

Lightbox Lite
for Android
Lightbox Lite allows you to create engaging interactives for use on our unique Android tablets. Share multimedia collections through ‘Galleries’, test visitors with a ‘Quiz’ and gather comments via ‘Feedback’. All managed with the easy to use Windows compatible CMS (Content Management System).

The ‘Hallaton Treasure’ is a flagship exhibit at The Harborough Museum, it is one of the most important Iron Age discoveries in Britain. Lightbox lite was used to share digital galleries that provide visitors with an insight into the archeological processes involved in the artefacts discovery and conservation.
Lightbox lite is utilised as a digital label at the Hengwrt exhibition, installed alongside display cabinets the tablets provide visitors with information on the items within and can be easily updated when new items are showcased.
Durham University used Lightbox lite to share a photo gallery in the ‘justified’ layout, on the subject of global pilgrimage.
Over 40 tablets running Lightbox lite are used at Y Gaer, the Brecknock Museum, Art Gallery and Library – operating as digital labels throughout the museum they provide visitors access to bilingual information on the hundreds of items on display within.
