Single Cup Headphones – Medical Museion

With a history starting in 1787, Copenhagen’s university museum was once the home of the Royal Danish Academy of Surgery, one of Denmark’s founding institutions for medicine. Today, the Medical Museion shares the country’s many centuries of medical history with visitors via a range of artefacts (including human bodies!) as well as being part of University of Copenhagen’s Public Health Department.

Our Single Cup Headphones were utilised in the Margarine exhibition, which goes into the surprisingly deep history behind what’s considered the world’s first synthetic food. You’ll find our hardware in one of its two dedicated rooms, providing audio alongside a range of archival footage and commercials.

The single cup headphones avoid audio bleed between each multi-media installation and thanks to their simple magnetic hanger fit nicely within the contemporary aesthetic of the museum.
