The Formula 1 Exhibition – shifting to multiple locations across the world – takes visitors deep into the history behind the sport. These exhibitions are renowned not just for presenting a vast collection of historic items and archive films, but providing immersive experiences for visitors.
For the exhibitions at Lighthouse ArtSpace in Toronto and ExCel in London, Sysco Productions were tasked with creating AV installations that offered visitors an experiential way of learning about the sport. The end result is a series of racing simulators, with authentic steering wheels, curved ultrawide screens and running the latest iteration of the F1 videogame series. This allowed for visitors to get as close as possible to the experience of being in the driver’s seat.
Sysco would in turn implement Blackbox-av’s MKII Double Cup Headphones with each of these rigs. Alex Keay, Project Engineer, Sysco Productions, goes on to explain;
“The headphones were a perfect fit for our needs at the Formula 1 Exhibition. The included knuckle mounting plate added durability and security, making them an ideal choice for the exhibition simulators.”
