Armour Cable Headphones – Science Museum, London
Our Armour Cable Headphones were chosen thanks to their incredibly robust design ensuring long lasting service. Two of the headphones were supplied for each screen along with our compact headphone hangers.
Last year, the Science Museum in London launched two new exhibits; Wounded: Conflict, Casualties and Care& Our Lives in Data. The Wounded exhibition commemorates the centenary of the Battle of the Somme, and how the wounds sustained by soldiers there impacted the medical industry. The latter exhibit aims to uncover many of the diverse and unique ways that our data is collected and used, from data collection from children’s toys to using public data to improve public transport.
Each of the exhibits contains a number of screens displaying informative videos however to avoid audio bleed the Science Museum wanted to utilise headphones rather than speakers alongside these screens. Our Armour Cable Headphones were chosen thanks to their incredibly robust design ensuring long lasting service. Two of the headphones were supplied for each screen along with our compact headphone hangers.
Longevity of the headphones is further increased by easily replaceable earpads, bellows, bands and gauzes. The Wounded exhibit is running until January 2018, while Our Lives in Data will run until September of this year.
