The first new Audio Post is located in the Kitchen Garden and teaches visitors about Henrietta Bankes, the lady of the house during the First World War. With the second yet to be installed.
To take the visitor experience even further and provide added interpretation the team at the Mill have used a wall mounted U-Turn Round and Audio Frame 15. The wind up self powered aspect of the U-Turn in particular fits well with the nature of the Mill.
The soundscape audio player outputs to 4 speakers each with different content, while playing a background track through all at the same time.
One segment of a larger project, our part which includes touchscreen software & kiosk, an audio bench, signage and video players should be completed by August, look out for the write up in our installations portfolio.
