U-Turn & Audio Post USB Update Rolls Out – Press Release

Manufacture has begun of the newest U-Turn Round and Audio Solar Post. Although aesthetically identical to the last version, upgraded firmware and updated electronics means both the U-Turn and Audio Post now boast improved functionality and easier programming.

As the flagship outdoor audio devices from blackbox-av both the U-Turn and Audio Post can be seen in numerous sites around the UK (and world!), including Duxford Air Museum, Princess Diana Memorial Playground and London Zoo.

With an unparallelled ability to provide outdoor audio interpretation in the most uncompromising of locations via windup and solar power, the newest features simply build upon the already successful products.

Answering client feedback both units are now easier to program using a new USB Programmer combined with a USB Flash Stick and play standard .mp3’s rather than .wav files. The Solar Post now offers automatic ‘shut down’ functionality at a preset light level, while the U-Turn now offers the option for clients to enable / disable end of message beeps.

Both units provide individual track play statistics as well as total play statistics while the volume level can be set between 1 – 10 rather than 1 – 4, allowing for a higher top-end volume.

All of this combined with a vocal menu interface means both the U-Turn and Solar Post are easier to use than ever!
