Our original and ever popular motion activated Message In A Speaker (MIAS) has become a big brother!
We at blackbox-av have been tinkering behind the scenes for some time now in an effort to improve our range of indoor audio devices for both the museum / heritage and retail sector. We originally created the MIAS several years ago, and have continued developing it over the years to make it the high quality motion activated speaker it is today.
Our Range
A self contained passive infrared activated speaker, the MIAS has been used for any number of applications in the past, from welcoming people to a museum, to publicising the release of the most recent Transformers movie. Thanks to the high quality JBL speaker and simple set up, the MIAS has proved a big hit. However we always want to offer more options when it comes to our audio visual interpretation products. This led to the development of the Message in a speaker Micro (MIAS – Micro), and together the two create the MIAS range. We can now safely say we have a motion activated speaker to suit any need and any budget!
MIAS
There’s no school like the old school and our original MIAS is still the highest quality fully contained passive infrared activated speaker we make. Thanks to years of development and its high quality JBL speaker, the MIAS offers great functionality and amazing quality. It comes with a bracket allowing it to be wall or ceiling mounted, a security cable and SD Card for programming. The MIAS is ideal for museum, heritage or retail applications and provides crystal clear audio every time.
MIAS Micro
The smaller of the range, the MIAS – Micro is just 120mm tall! The compact size of the message in a speaker micro is what makes it so unique, it can also be ran on either rechargeable batteries or with a mains to USB adapter plug (both included), allowing it to be used in places without mains power that the original MIAS couldn’t. Packing great quality audio for its small size the MIAS Micro is sure to be a hit. It is also as easy to program as its bigger brothers and costs the least out of the two.
