Autumn Interpretation Ideas
Autumn is finally here, and with it brings new ideas for autumn interpretation. During the summer we’ve been busy creating new products to meet the specific demands of our customers as well as adding ‘polish’ to some of our existing products. More news on the ‘polish’ coming soon but in the meantime, why not take a look at the following new ideas and see whether they fit with any plans you may have?
Interactive Map & Timeline Software – Cosmeston Lakes
Visitors can explore a free-flowing map of Cosmeston Lakes nature site through a touch screen interface. The timeline shows changes over the years through photographs which can be expanded with a simple touch of the screen.
Audio Donation Box – Forestry Commission Wales
Recently supplied to the Forestry Commission, Wales, sensors detect when a donation has been made and plays customizable audio content in return. From a thank you message to information about your exhibit, this is a simple yet effective method of increasing awareness and showing your appreciation for contributions. An added benefit is an inbuilt alarm system which is activated should someone try to make off with your hard won donations.
AudioFrame 15 Kiosk
Produced for the Cumbrian Records Office as part of their Sellafield Stories project, this new, low cost audio kiosk utilises our popular Audio Frame 15 in a free standing enclosure to provide oral histories about the plant’s electrical power production and provision of fuel for nuclear weapons in the 1940s. Our thanks to Jenni Lister at Cumbria for her enthusiastic support of this project.
